SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
The Albany R-III School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024 election. There are two positions available with three year terms. Interested persons may file at the Superintendent's office located at 101 W. Jefferson Street, Albany, Missouri 64402. For more information. contact Mr. Dustin Freeman, Superintendent at (660) 726-3911.
Filing will begin on December 5, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather or other health related reasons. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school district's central offices are closed: December 20, 2023 at 1:30 p.m., December 21, 2023 - December 25, 2023. Our office will open at 3:00 p.m. on December 26, 2023 and board filing will end at 5:00 p.m. on this day.

You may have pictures retaken. To be retaken, please return your portrait package to the photographer on Makeup/Retake day. Fill out the retake form on the back side of your picture envelope, and give it to the photographer.
The Albany R-III School District is taking applications for substitute teachers. $105.00 per day. Missouri Substitute Certificate required. Applications available in the district office or online at www.albany.k12.mo.us
