Selena Velasquez is a 5th grade student in Mr. Ramsey's class. Selena tries her hardest every day and works hard. Things may not always be easy for her, but she keeps trucking on.
Mackenzie Pruitt is a 2nd grade student in Mrs. Humphrey's. Mackenzie works hard and tries her best every day. When something is difficult, she does not get frustrated but continues to approach the task with a positive attitude. She never gives up even when a task is difficult. She knows when to ask for help and how to grow from her mistakes in and outside of the classroom. She encourages others even in the midst of her own struggle. She truly expresses perseverance in everything she does.
